My Car parts Photos rejected due to quality issues.

I uploaded some white background images of car parts, but I can't tell what's wrong.

Can you give me some suggestions? Or are there already too many images like this?

However, I searched on stock and saw other white background images like car parts.

Hi @Vess_C3582 ,

All three images are noisy.

The first file seem to have compression noise also.

The second file has a thin blue color fringing on the edge and it seem you went in a bit too close for the close-up.

You need to zoom in at between 100 and 200% to view the images for issues. If you do not know what to look for, they are tabulated hare.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

All too much noise?
What level of noise is generally acceptable? Do the color blocks need to be very clean?

My ISO setting is around 800.

Hi @Vess_C3582 ,

No noise level is accepted. You need to remove the noise with a photo editor in post processing.  Read the information on the link I attached for details about what is acceptable. Just click on each of the tabulated hyperlinks.

ISO settings is used to aid exposure settings and shutter speed. You change that to high or low depending on your light level to achieve correct exposure and the shutter speed you want to achieve. Each camera has it own max level that will not produce noise level that cannot be handled by photo editors without cleaning away too much of the image's details. Therefore you will determine if the ISO you use is too high for your camera. I use up to 2000 to achieve the best shutter speed I can depending on the light condition and the shutter speed I wish to achieve.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Probably not the reason for rejection necessarily, but the shadows could be opened up just a smidgeon to reveal more texture in the deepest shadow areas.

Hello,

Personally, I think the noise level is acceptable.

I would though try to reduce the shadows somewhat. Try not to make them so noticeable. I think this could be a problem. They are just a bit too noticeable. You could also try an off-white background.
