No Sales Since Joining in October

Hi everyone,

I’m new to stock and joined Adobe at the beginning of October. I haven’t been uploading very regularly, and most of my images are AI-generated. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a single sale so far.

I’d really appreciate it if anyone could take a look at my profile and share their thoughts. Is it the style of my images, the quality, or perhaps the way I’ve tagged and titled them? Any constructive criticism, tips, or insights would mean a lot to me as I try to figure out what I can improve.

Thank you in advance for your time and advice!

In addition to the other comments, it appears you have less than 100 assets in your portfolio. You'll need to good deal more before you start seeing sales on a regular basis.

Yes, stock is also about masses.

You need to have a diversified and, above all, more substantial portfolio.
Plan at least 4-5 months in advance for seasonal images. You also need to account for the time it takes to review your images.
It’s a long-term and consistent effort that will ensure sales...
Don’t give up!

Thank you so much for advice! I really appreciate the encouragement and the practical tips. I will plan for seasonal assets 4-5 months in advance.

Could you share a bit more about what you mean by having a “diverse and better portfolio”? Are there specific types of assets or themes that you think are essential to include?
Thank you again for the motivation—it means a lot!

More and different topics. People topics are probably selling better than non people topics.

Example: a person eating an apple is most likely more interesting than an apple alone. But if you have people eating apples, you could also add several types of people, girl/boy/man/woman/different ethnocides, baskets of apples, apple trees and yes, an isolated apple on a transparent background too, etc. Then move on to a different topic.

You are competing with thousands of other contributors who are uploading millions of assets each week. You will need to steadily add assets to get a statistical chance to be shown to potential buyers. Currently, you would need Easter eggs, if you are in for seasonal assets. Nobody will now buy a 2025 Sushi asset. That may be OK for 2026… by changing the number.

Thanks for the insight and experience! If you don't mind me asking more questions. 🙂

I’m curious, have you noticed any trends or types of assets that seem to sell well, even with so much competition? Do you have a way of figuring out what buyers will be looking for in the next season?

Check the Adobe blogs (and the blogs of other stock agencies).

Thank you for your reply!

In October, I was preparing assets for the New Year, but it seems I may not have made enough. Should I focus now on creating images for Easter? Are there any themes or topics that are always in demand?

You were probably late and not enough. Seasonal assets start half a year before the event. And you should add them over a longer period of time.
