You are past the date to ask for a payout in your currency. The mail you got reads:

March 3rd, 2023 we will consolidate the different currencies in which royalties are paid and switch to US Dollars. You will receive any future payouts in USD. If you wish to request a payout in your current currency, please log into the contributor portal by February 28, 2023 end of day and submit the request by clicking on the arrow next to Available Earnings in the dashboard. Note, the payout button is only act

Due to the current conversion to US Dollar, a withdrawal is temporarily not possible.

As of Friday, March 3, the payout will be possible again.

Future payouts will be processed in US Dollars.

Thank you,

Not yet, thought this would be a quicker way to see if it's a site problem due to the payouts changing to USD only (another way for non US contributers to receive less from payout!).

This is not correct. It could have also been the other ways around, having an EUR in an unfavourable exchange rate for the contributor. Indeed, this was the case a few years ago, for some contributors from several countries, whose available (and the royalties) lost in value because the exchange rate was slow to adapt.

Adobe will pay less money to EUR (and GBP?) account holders in the future, but that is simply a matter of exchange rate. They could also have adapted the exchange rate to a less favourable term.

IMHO, the motivation to do this is to limit the administrative burden to have doing accounting in different currencies.

The option to avoid the switch would have been to close down your account and not getting anything at all.

NB. For several years, new contributors did not get a local currency payout, but had only a USD account. And yes, eventually conversion costs are now for the contributor.

(The red colour is mine.)

You have simply missed the deadline.

Thanks for the replies. I knew the deadline had passed I just thought we'd be able to get payout between then and tomorrow, they didn't mention it would be unavailable for nearly a week.

Your initial message did not sound like this: (last day)

When you read the letter, you will know that the last day for asking a payout in your local currency was February 28th. I didn't know either that payouts would not be possible during the transition time. But (seen as of today) it looks logical, that the accounts are blocked during the 3 days of transition.
