photos rejected due to technical issues

My photos were rejected because of 'technical issues'. I would be grateful for any feedback on the same.

In addition to Ralph's comments the landscape image is very noisy and the sky exhibits artifacts. The blurred trees indicates that either your shutter speed was too slow, or you didn't hold the camera steady. A tripod would have helped.

Both images are not very sharp.

The first photo  has underexposed shadows in the foreground and overexposed highlights (the lights).

The second photo has a noisy sky and movement is shown arround the trees.
