Photos were rejected. Anyone can help me understand why?

Hi, a few of my recently uploaded photos were rejected with the reason ‘technical exposure problems, blur, noise, or excessive filtering,’ though I don’t see any issues. Could you please help me understand exactly what I did wrong with them?

The photos need to be worked on. You need to workj on the saturation to make them stand ou a lttile. The first photo the depth of field is too shallow. The second photo the foreground should be removed, the shadows lightened up and the magenta in the water removed. I did not look at the others.

Hi @Dynamic_Whisper5CC9 ,

What I would consider the subject of the first file is not in focus.

The second file is not in focus either. You should either focus on the flowers to include it in the frame, or avoid it entirely. The blur in the forefront is very distracting.

The third picture is also out of focus, under exposed, noisy and too compressed. The color is not correct. It is obvious this was not taken with a DSLR camera.

The fourth file is underexposed.

You need to zoom in on you pictures to inspect them for issues before you upload them.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Actually, they were all taken with a Canon mirrorless camera according to the metadata!

The quality reminds me of photos I took with my compact camera when I just started, using digital zoom, if not of less quality than mine.

Best wishes

Hello,

Exposure - the waves are overexposed and the bottom of the photo - the blurred flowers you should crop out.

Lighthouse - composition

You could also improve the composition of your other two photos. The images don't 'pop', so exposure could also be improved - contrast etc.

Publica un máximo de 2 de tus fotos rechazadas en una entrada aparte, y las analizaremos y te diremos por qué probablemente fueron rechazadas. No olvide decirnos por qué han sido rechazadas. Y publícalas aquí tal y como las enviaste.
