hi

The photo you submitted has been rejected.

The reason is that it does not meet the quality standards.

Kind person,

please tell me what is wrong with this photo.

Please.

Dear Jill_C and Abambo

Other stock photos allow a lot of out-of-focus macros,

But Adobe Stock has a lot of very beautiful in-focus photos.

My camera doesn't have a focus shift shooting function, so I'm practicing steadily by taking pictures one by one.

It's a lot of fun.

Thank you very much.

Other stock companies, other's rules. Adobe stock, Adobe's rules.

Some cameras have a focus shift function. If yours does not have, you will need to adjust the focussing manually.

I wish you a lot of fun.

Apart from the technical issues, acceptance into Stock inventory doesn't guarantee you'll make many sales.  Adobe Stock contains over 29 million flowers. With so much competition, there's little to no sales potential in this. Avoid low percentage sellers like sunrises/sunsets, clouds, trees, plants, flowers & pets.  Adobe Stock contains more than enough of those already.

Hope that helps.

Is true!

You have a great number of flower images for sale.

Even if I do need a picture of a flower, I think it would be quicker to take one myself...

Thanks for the advice!

In the first image,  very little, if anything, is in sharp focus. The second image is completely blurry.

Thank you Jill_C

I bought a macro lens because I really admired macro photography.

However, it seems that I didn't understand macro photography at all.

Thank you for pointing out.

I'll do my best to look at a lot of high-quality macro photos, improve my photography techniques, and take great close-up videos!

There is a frequent misconception that shooting "wide open",  i.e. at f2.8 or lower, is preferable; however it usually results in such a narrow DOF that too little of the subject is in focus. If you prefer to shoot wide open, you should investigate focus stacking techniques.
