This figure could have been modelled after a real person. If that is not the case, it needs a property release. The same is true with the Jesus figure.

You have many recognizable people here. Even the masked individuals could require a model release.

If your photo contains recognizable people, they must give you written permission to be photographed for commercial use.  When someone attends church services, they have an expectation of privacy.  They may not want to be photographed at church.  The priest might not want you to photograph at church. You must respect all people's right to privacy.

Without a signed model release, you can't sell photos of people.  And Stock will not accept it.

Model Releases are always required when you have recognizable people in your images. That's why it usually isn't possible to submit images from public events.

He also asks me in photos in which no people appear, for example a cliff and no person. And in the photos where people appear (that nothing can be recognized due to the blur) do I have to investigate to see who the person is and have them sign a consent?

The request for a model release in which no people appear could be an error, or there might be other IP issues in the image. Can you upload that image for comment here?

If there are recognizable people in your images you ALWAYS need a model release for each and every one of the recognizable people. The rule of thumb is that if a person can recognize himself in your image, you must have a model release. If the people are very far off in the distance, or have their backs turned to the camera, you probably don't need a model release since they wouldn't be able to recognize themselves. It is illegal to sell commercially images of people who have not given their express, written permission for you to do so.

Have you read Adobe's help page on model releases?
