Profile name change to email address

Hello... I've submitted a message to Adobe support but I'm sure it will take weeks for a reply. Pretty simple question - can I use my email address as my profile display name?  I see many profiles using business cards and even resumes! All I want to do is use my email address as my display name without getting suspended or banned.  Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure doing so will get your account banned, but I suspect that Adobe will ask you to change your display name. They do not want Buyers to be able to contact Contributors directly, since it is their job to be the middleman in this relationship. The accounts for which you see business names and contact info are by special invitation only. No one seems to know how to get into that club.

UPDATE: Adobe replied after only 1 day with the following statement:

You cannot change your display name to your email address. However, if you want, you can link your Adobe Stock account and your Behance account (if you have one), and then a link to your Behance profile can be shown on your Stock Portfolio. On Behance you can have your email address visible, so people can contact you that way.

Make sure that it is a basic address, that you can change when it gets flooded with spam. It does not to be your official business e-mail, that you use with your customers.

That proves that Adobe replies to requests as fast as possible, if they are indeed “reply-able” immediately.

Thanks! - I've been with Adobe since I was migrated over from Fotolia but I've never heard of Behance. I'm pretty excited about it but I don't have a clue what to charge since all the stock sites I've used in the past have always handled the pricing for me.

The responses are well put. Adobe Stock is global. Would you really want people contacting you at all hours of the day and night, either asking for specific assets or complaining that an asset they purchased did not meet their requirements and they want their money back? Adobe is the "middleman" for a reason: to protect the sellers and the buyers. There ARE contributors who use their real names, but that's as far as it should go.

Bad idea!  😜

Think twice before posting your email address in public view.  It's is an open invitation for exploitation by address harvesters and spam bots.  Before long, your inbox will be inundated with junk mail or worse, used to send spam without your knowledge.  Don't risk it.

Well...people who post here and include their contact information usually end up having a moderator delete personal information of this nature. So I would say no.
