Prompts with names of artists

So, ok, no names of artists in prompts, but what happens with images submitted like 2 months ago, still being in review, containing names? should they be deleted also, not to be reviewed? My other question is, if names like Salvador Dali, Boticelli, da Vinci allowed, since they are not under copyright and considered to be public domain?

Botticelli and Da Vinci should be in the public domain, so using them as a reference or copying their style should not pose too much of a problem. Dali's death is still too young. Anything he created is still copyrighted, and his name is for sure protected.

His name may stay protected even above the standard lifetime of his copyright, if it gets registered as a trademark. You should be cautious with copying the style of current artists or recently deceased artists. You are in a commercial setting and not in an academic case study.

The names would be allowed if they are in the public domain. Although I have a tough time believeing that Dali's works are in the public domain, as I quote "If you wish to reproduce a work by Salvador Dalí you need to apply for a license to VEGAP, Artists Rights society which manages Salvador Dalí's rights on behalf of our Foundation."  But why include names in your keywords or titles at all? Why even USE their names in a prompt? I suspect no one is searching for images specific enough to include search words as "similar to the works of  Leonardo da Vinci or Salvador Dali" I believe, despite the fact that AI images do indeed appropriate slices and dices of other works of artists and photographers, one can still develop a style of their own with original and careful prompting.

well, with this prompt thing, funny thing is that images i made are not even close to specific artists styles, nor anyone would connect them visually to, lets say, Dali. BUT Ai is making some minor changes when names are put in prompts, so, for example, dress on a model will look fluffier or prettier or will have flowers if name is in prompt, or, (and im giving now specific example) if u put Grant Wood in prompt, model will keep arms next to body (therefor avoid 23 fingers) even tho visually it does not remind of American Gothic. I hope i explained well. This is not about reproducing melting clocks, but having better or more accurate results. what about images uploaded and waiting for a review containing names in prompts?

Tim Burton will mostly give u head leaned on one shoulder :)) but depending on prompt itself, model won't look like Helena Bonham Carter.
