Property release for Washington DC landmarks?

I've spent what seems like hours trying to determine if a property release is required for exterior photos of the US Capitol or other DC area landmarks, such as the Washington Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, National Museum of the Marine Corps, etc.  Would really appreciate some insight/guidance from anyone willing to share.  Thanks!  -Marshal

Hi Marshal

Please look at the "Known image restrictions" page.

I hope the link can be helpful to you.

Hi Mario,

Thanks for your response; however, with the exception of the Lincoln Memorial, none of the other landmarks/locations I mentioned are covered on that page.  As some of the most photographed landmarks/buildings in the US,  it would be extremely helpful to many, many photographers if they could be included/covered in the list.

Best,

Marshal

Marshall,

It looks like the MLK Jr. and Iwo Jima Memorials are also restricted. I would assume that the Smithsonian is as well.
