I emailed this to Mat Hayward too and will delete or update when I get a response. Only posting here as I thought others might have some useful advice.
I post this not to complain or contest a rejection but just for my own knowledge and to avoid wasting reviewers' time in the future.
I received IP-related rejections for two illustrations, both partly AI created (based on my own rough sketches, which is a typical workflow for me). However, for the life of me, I cannot discern what the intellectual property could be.
Thanks friends. Any & all advice is gratefully accepted.
edit: I've attached the images here.
A signed model release for fictional AI people or property is no longer required. One simply needs to check the boxes to certify that the people or property in the asset are fictional. I think this may be one reason why there has been a slight up tick in review times, since the moderators no longer have to double check if a model release was properly submitted.
It's because you cannot reference famous artists in AI or any other form for that matter.
Using Text Prompts as titles or keywords is a really bad idea, particularly when you're using "style of Moebius' in your prompt. No doubt, that's why your work was rejected for IP violation.

Did you sign an IP release for your artwork? Did you use restricted keywords? Do your illustrations resemble registered products?

There are no restricted keywords that I can see.
Previously, I was prompted sometimes to upload a property release if necessary – which I always did, and then the item was accepted.
This isn't giving me that choice. There are no product logos or proprietary product designs etc in the images.

Rejections can be on the use of protected tradenames and similar in the title or the keywords.

Without seeing the examples, it will be hard to speculate. Feel free to post them if you'd like some guesses 🙂

We can't really help you unless you upload the assets here for comment.

Hi @moe hong ,
We are unable to give a good answer because you did not show us the artwork. However, there are some artwork that will require IP although it's your original. It's your original and you have no other people's property included, such as design, artwork, business logo, trademarks, business names, home, etc, then you prepare and send in the IP form filled out and signing as your property.
It would be good if you show us so that we can give you a better suggestion.
Best wishes
Jacquelin

Beautiful artwork. Since both are very artistic / hand drawn in appearance, I think you'll need to submit a Property Release indicating that you're the artist.

I am sure you are right. That must be it. I didn't even realize that was in the metadata or that I had copied it into the keywords!

I wish they had put it in the reminders queue with instructions to fix the keywords as they usually do. I will resubmit. Thanks.
