IMO, your composition lacks color and visual interest (Wow Factor). 

Food must look good enough to eat.

Relatively minor, but I'd also remove the two small bits of meat on the far right hand edge They add nothing of interest.

I agree with @Ricky336 . Also the cutoff piece on the right side needs to be removed.
