Rejected for image quality...need some feedback

Rejected on this image, saying quality issues. I'm new to this so help would be nice. Appreciate the feedback in advance.

Underexposed in the shadows, perhaps over saturated, and noise is evident in the sky so probably exists throughout the image.

I agree with @Jill_C about the underexposure, and this is reflected in the histogram.  The short seems sharp enough in the front, but I feel like it gets progressively less sharp towards the back of the frame.  There is something about the perspective that looks off-kilter to me.  I also would have removed the people towards the back as it doesn't seem like they are an important part of the photo.
