Explorer ,
May 19, 2021 May 19, 2021

Hi,

My photo was rejected. Was this photo rejected due to reduced commercial value?

Can you advise me?

What was the reason? Was it ' Aesthetic or commercial appeal? If so, then it's not the type of content that Adobe thinks will sell. Anyway, what does it (the picture/photo) show??

If this is not a compression of the forum interface, then your size 2048x1149 is clearly small according to the requirements of AD. Quality is a separate conversation. It is difficult to shoot water.

Hi @Stas5E2B,

You can't upload pictures to stock if they do not meet the minimal size criteria. So, any picture that goes to moderation is big enough as required by Adobe stock.

You say you assume this. Do you mean there is no reason? Why do you assume?

I don't understand. Are you saying you won't try to answer our questions? If not, I don't think we can help.

However, Adobe are looking for world class commercial photography. If you are not a photo expert, and don't want to be, then I suggest that you give up.

The place of the photo is very extraordinary. If possible, repeat photography. The photo will definitely be in demand by another resource.
Wait for a clear day for a short shutter speed. Then the water will not look like dark jelly. Shifts down and to the side. A bit of sky and a bit of asymmetry. Beautiful landscape. But now everything looks sluggish.

Aesthetic or commercial appeal: The picture would not be accepted to Adobe stock, even when the picture meets all quality requirements because Adobe thinks that the picture will not sell and may even repeal potential buyers from stock.
