Correct answer Abambo

I suppose you took this picture with a kind of cheap microscope add on for your iPhone. There is no structure, the colours are off, your lens is dirty, the refraction on the fly's wings are probably also troublesome. This in addition to all other answers here so far.

Taken with a microscope attachment looks about right!

Hello,

It was rejected because the circle should be central and not cut off as you have done - composition, and focus could be a lot better, depth of field is too shallow. Not enough of the fly is in focus to be of use. You are too close to the subject really. Secondly, taken with a smartphone you will run into quality issues!

Thirdly, as @Nancy OShea mentioned, what is the purpose of this shot? Why would it sell? The commercial aspect is a really important question to ask yourself!

In addition to the focus and contrast issues noted by others, there is a composition issue - the circle is cut off on the right side.

Hi @Josh26839178dsht ,

The subject is not in sharp focus. When you zoom in on the subject the edge should be sharp.

Best wishes

The photo lacks contrast and focus, there are lots of dark spots and unnecessary shadows.  You could also remove the vignetting.

What was the rejection reason -- quality/technical problems, IP, commercial appeal, unsupported format?  Please be specific.

Also what is this supposed to be?  Who would buy it?  What could they use it for commercially?

Adobe Stock customers expect professional images of highest visual and technical quality for use in commercial projects.  See links below.

Hope that helps.
