The photos I uploaded have been under review for a long time. I wonder when they will be finalized

Recent delays:

  • Photos with model release: 6 days!
  • Illustrative Editorial: 2 days.
  • Vector: one day.
  • Illustrations: 8 days (info from a contributor).
  • Generative AI: at least a month, if not two, for the moment (estimation from the forum posts).

Maybe your message is more understandable when you write in your language?

What I understood: You are waiting now for a month for the moderation of your pictures. If they are in the illustration queue, that is normal.

Please tell us, what you consider “a long time”. Currently, we expect them to be reviewed in about two months from the time of submission.

Thanks.

1. You might like to know that there is a forum specially for Adobe Stock contributors, Stock Contributors - Adobe Support Community. At the moment you will find it is full of people asking why review is taking so long...

2. It is very important to understand how Adobe use the word "photo". They mean an image straight from a camera, colour corrected and adjusted. The reason this is important is that Adobe say that AI Generative work is NOT a photo (it is an Illustration) - so if you submitted them as category "photograph", they will be rejected - and as a false label, this could even get your account blocked. So, if you did this, I suggest you delete from review immediately.

3. There are many very specific rules for AI files, and you need to follow them exactly. This is especially important when it could take several months in review! For example you must use "AI", "Generative" and "AI Generative" exactly like that as keywords. If these are new to you I suggest asking in the contributors forum.

4. There has recently been a huge flood of people submitting AI pictures (it's called a "gold rush"). But the number of human reviewers are the same. So the wait for AI has grown to over a month, and is getting worse every day. At this rate it could be a year, unless Adobe put limits somehow. They aren't likely to employ more reviewers in the short term.

Good luck with your pictures!

There are long delays at the moment, though less for photos. Are your pictures AI Generated by any chance?
