I've received four such "too many similar" refusals in the past two days. One was of a surreal image of a woman wearing an outfit made of cabbage leaves (I know, don't laugh, it actually came out very well). Point being, I haven't submitted any other images of women dressed in cabbage outfits, and I doubt there are many available on Adobe Stock.
Meanwhile, one contributor in particular that has been pointed out previously in this forum continues to have accepted hundreds (and I do mean hundreds in a very literal sense) of images that are not only similar, but virtually identical.
Something is broken.

Dear your assets also rejected due to similar images?

That was the reason given, yes.

It could be either a mistake by the Moderator, which as @daniellei4510 indicated, happens all too often; or there are images from other Contributors quite similar to yours.

The four "too similar" rejections were the first of this refusal type that I've received in over two years. One in particular was of a young girl on a slide. Upon close inspection, I decided it was a mistake and should have been a quality issue (long story short, she was sliding down head first, and it was hard to make out that she had legs; it's now in my "never resubmit pile").
But when it comes to "mistakes" like "similar images," resubmitting can be tricky, as it could border on spamming if one resubmits without making corrections. In any case, I wouldn't mind so much if the moderators were more careful about those who are clearly--if not purposely--breaking this rule.
Anyway, my plan of attack with the other three images is to correct "mistakes" that aren't really there and possibly resubmit them in a few weeks. I'm waiting to see if this trend continues with any of my other 30 images now in the queue, a few of which have been totally ignored for the past few weeks with preference given to newer assets.

Your account won't be suspended for 3 similar-asset-refusals.
There are 3 possibilities:
If your account gets suspended for spamming, that means that you submitted dozends of similar assets.

Hi, it seems that Adobe Stock has changed the company or staff responsible for reviewing files, and they have a quota for rejections!
