Sudden Mass Deletion of Images from Dashboard

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my Adobe Stock contributor dashboard. Within just an hour, around 80 of my images were suddenly removed from the dashboard and moved to the "Rejected" section. I did not receive any specific notifications or reasons for this sudden action.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue recently? I'm trying to figure out if this is a system glitch or something else.

Perhaps, Adobe is taking a leaf out of Elon's book! Adobe's version of DOGE -  ADOBE - Adobe Department Of Becoming Efficient! (Humour too much??)

I did get an email today, not sure why as the link that came with it didn't tell me anything. Not overly concerned though I have a lot of assets, maybe they were duplicates or too similar or they just decided they didn't want those ones.

Hello Merrillie,
Some changes have been made to your portfolio after a re-review of some assets.

I have come across at least 12 instances of people complaining in various forums or groups about images that have been removed, but I have found that the exact same images are still online in their portfolios with different file numbers. So for anyone wondering why a file has been removed please check your portfolio and see if you have a duplicate of it still online.

That would make sense if so. Adobe announced weeks ago that it would be removing duplicates. Maybe they're finally getting around to it?

Yes. It actually happened to me personally. I had a video removed in this audit and realised that it was a accidental duplicate.

The email reporting results of any moderation activities is usually delayed by at least 24 hours following the action. If you click on the images in your "not accepted" tab, you should see the rejection reason.

Last night, I wrote a few paragraphs in memory of a jazz pianist I admire (Oscar Peterson), off-topic.

I looked and searched today, but couldn't find it. It was probably removed. I didn't receive any notification or email.

However, 5-6 months ago, I made another off-topic post, but it wasn't removed: More accurately, I asked a forum moderator to do so because it could create unnecessary discussion, and that post was removed that way.

The change is probably present in the forum as well.

If something is clearly off-topic or out of place, as your jazz pianist post was, a Moderator will just delete it. Someone else in the forum might also have reported it as spam, which can also result in deletion.

This has been happening to a number of contributors, as being reported here. You aren't alone and we don't know why it's happening.
