Support on model contract. Digital contract?

Hello,

I wish everyone a happy day. Friends, is there a chance for me to make a single model contract and use it on several platforms? There used to be an app but I think it has become paid. I am looking for something free and digital that I can fill out. What do you think I can do? Instead of writing with a pen, I want to fill it out quickly on a computer or phone for free.  Thank you very much in advance for your support.

Hi @ancientartwork ,

You can, provided it satisfies all the requirements of the different platforms. Please note that each platform has its variables. Therefore, before you can use this universal model release it has to be checked and approved by the relevant platforms.

If you are looking for something easy to work with at Adobe, I suggest you utilize the digital release. This release is simple and easy to work with and do not need witness signatures.

Best wishes

Unfortunately, the Adobe digital release is not universally accepted. If you submit to more than one site, you will need to use an alternative solution.

Most platforms accept paper model releases from competing platforms and even from generic forms. A paper release may also be a PDF generated from a digital release with signatures from a mobile application.

Thank you for your valuable comments with all my heart. @Abambo  You are really right. They usually accept paper versions. Actually, this was very tiring in the past, so I started looking for something modern. In fact, while shooting takes 10 minutes, filling out a form can take 20 minutes. 🙂 However, I will continue with the digital version for Adobe. Maybe it would be better to work only with Adobe and collect my works in one place. Do you think I should prepare separate documents for each shoot and concept for the photos I took of myself and the ones where I am the model? Can I proceed with just one document?

You will need one modelrelease for each model and shooting. You won't need a new model release for the same model and shooting, just because the setting changed.

So as an example, you can do an office setting and a kitchen setting with one model release, if done during the same shooting. If 3 weeks after that, you do a new shooting with the same model, you will need a new model release.

If you submit the pictures only to Adobe stock or also to other agancies that is up to you. But if you are using the Adobe digital solution, you can only submit to Adobe stock. It's a matter of choice ...  There is no advantage by submitting only to one agency. It's just less work, as you do have to follow up only one site.

I think you're referring to a model release or property release. Though Adobe has their own form, they will accept any that is largely similar and contains the same info. They will accept Easy Release. As to whether it would be accepted on other platforms, you would have to check with those platforms.

I found a "Snap and Release" model release manager on the Apple App Store. Not sure if it's available for Androids. It's only $1.99 and appears to allow the model to sign digitally on a phone, and I assume it can export to .jpgs. I looked for something free but no luck.

Thank you very much, yes the explanations look good too. Do you think Adobe will accept this? I have another question. I will be shooting in some places. If I change the clothes of the models outdoors with Generetive Fill. In which category do you think I should upload? There will be no change in the face, maybe small detail cleaning in the background. What is the standard for this? When uploading, should I upload it as a normal photo? Do you think it is as Ai? What exactly should I pay attention to? Do I need to open a separate title for this?

I see no reason why Adobe wouldn't accept it, so long as it's filled out correctly.

As far as using gen fill to create new clothing, I think you might risk creating similars, much like uploading an identical image with different background colors. But that's just my opinion, without seeing specific examples.

Assets that use gen fill to make normal edits do no need to be labeled as AI. But you would be using gen fill on what will be the main subject, which would require labeling the asset as AI.
