Understanding Adobe Stock Quality Standards for AI-Generated Images

Hello, everyone!

I have a question regarding the quality parameters for submitting AI-generated images to Adobe Stock. Some of my images have been rejected due to quality issues, while others in the same style have been approved. I'd like to better understand the criteria for submitting images.

For example, I’ve attached two images generated using the same prompt. The first one, generated with Midjourney, was rejected after editing and upscaling to a resolution of 4096x2720. The second one, also generated with Midjourney but without any edits and with a resolution of 2688x1792, was approved.

Could someone help clarify the quality standards or provide guidance? Thank you!

New users of AI have the mistaken idea that AI can magically replace human talent & skills. That's a myth.

AI is just a tool. It does some things well and entirely misses the mark on others, like anatomy & apparel.

Pay attention to fingers, facial details & clothing seam lines, collars, folds, buttons, button holes, etc...

There's a lot more to quality than just resolution and file size. The fingers in both hands are malformed; in fact in the first image, the nail is in the wrong side of the finger!

I used facial restoration software to clean up her teeth a bit. It's worth looking into. I use it to fix irises, nostrils, and teeth. It over corrects everything else, so some masking is required.

@RALPH_L is correct, the second one should also not have been approved. Her teeth are on the yellow side and the bottom row of teeth are poorly drawn. Myself, I'd delete it, correct it, and submit again.
