Unsupported country or region

Hi everyone, 

 

So, this morning I got a notification on my Adobe Stock contributor account: "Congratulations! Click here to choose and redeem your Creative Cloud app.[Read This First]". 

When I click on the link a new window opens up with the redeem code, but when I click on "redeem" I get the error "This code is from a country or region that does not match your Adobe ID. "

Now I know that my country is not supported by Adobe (Bosnia & Herzegovina), but is there any way to successfully use this code? I have tried contacting the support but they were not helpful. Thanks

There seems to be one answer on the contributor helpx files (see note 1 of the bonus program: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/royalty-details.html😞 Contributors located in countries where the apps are not available are excluded from the Bonus Program.

 

Some contributors also seem to have an Adobe ID that is connected to a different country than their contributor account. Even if that worked before, there is never a guarantee that it will continue to work.

Same case here, I've had my free plan for two years, it was working fine. Did anyone get some reply from them?
I'm from Serbia as well 🙂

I corresponded with 3 agents through chat and all three transferred me to a "team of contributors" who never responded. The fourth gave me an email where I wrote and explained the situation and I still haven't received an answer, and most likely I won't.
It's strange that everything worked as it should before and now it doesn't. Some of the photographers from Serbia claim that the code works for them. Maybe their profile is registered in another country like America, Canada, Belgium, Turkey...
One of the photographers corresponded with the agent and the agent told him that his profile was registered in Russia, the man was surprised how in Russia because he has nothing to do with Russia.
And what are we going to do now? Will Adobe help or continue to ignore us?

in the moment you have a redemption code, you need to ask the support guy what in that code makes that it does not work with your Adobe ID. That is a task, which Adobe customer support needs to do. With that information, yo can eventually go back to the contributor support. 

 

I really would like to get an indication on what to do from @MatHayward . It's not normal that codes get issued and whennthe legal recipient of those codes want to redeem them, they get told that it's not for their region.

I am having same problem here. Last year code was working and now it does not. I tried with chat bot and human support several times, no help. Any suggestions ?

You can forget the bot, did you get a human on the support line? If not, type “Agent” after the initial two or three questions. I would guess, however, that you need to contact Contributor Support too. I'm sure that customer support can say only that the code does not meet your region. Need help? (Stock Contributor Support)

I had 3 humans, all of them transfered me to another support and no one answered later.

I wrote to support as an email to adobestock, lady just gave me links to some pages which are not helpful. And also she wrote me to ask for chat support even If I told her I did that already..

What support did you contact? Adobe customer support., as indicated? Or Adobe contributor support?

 

I would try contributor support, as they have issued the codes.


Redemption codes are geo-localised and can indeed only be redeemed for the region they have been created for.  I don't know of any possibility to circumvent this.

I have contacted both and sent them an email (still waiting for a response) but they were not helpful at all. I understand that they are geo-localized, but why send me the code in the first place if I can't use it? And why Adobe doesn't support some countries anway?

Hello, I don't know why I am getting this error "This code is from a country or region that does not match your Adobe ID"
It's not the first time I've received a bonus code (redeem), and today when I tried to activate it, it won't.
I activated the code in 2022 and 2023 but now I can't
I don't use any other profile or computer for adobe. I have only one single account and one computer where I use photostop. I live in Serbia and I don't know why this can't be activated. Can anyone help? Thank you.

When I want to renew the code I get this message :This code is from a country or region that does not match your Adobe ID.
Last year everything went well.
