Upload a higher quality version of an image rejected for quality issues?

Community Beginner ,

Hi there! Does anyone know if it's possible to re-upload a higher quality version of an image that was rejected for quality issues?
I have a few images that were rejected for quality, and I realized this was due to something I did in post-processing. I corrected the issue and uploaded them again, and now they are rejected with:
"Thanks for giving us the chance to consider your image. Unfortunately, during our review we found that it's similar to another image(s) you've already uploaded, so we can't accept it into our collection."
Please note that this message specifically states that the image is similar to another image(s) I've already submitted, not similar to other images on the site.
Having said this, the images in question have no resemblance to others in my portfolio, and I'm quite confident the issue is that I've uploaded the image in the past (the lower quality rejected one).
What I would like is the ability to let the reviewers know that this is an image with the quality issues corrected, and have them review it instead of immediatedly rejecting for similarity to one I've already posted.
Does anyone know a way to do this?
Thanks!

There's no way to communicate to the Moderation team about your resubmitted image. You can try to resubmit it, but repeatedly uploading previously rejected images without having addressed the reason for rejection can be considered spamming, for which Adobe might block your account.

Yes, you can correct and upload again.

The similar rejection reason is also used to mark images, that are abundantly present in the database. It may also happen, sporadically, that the moderator just had similar images from a different account and simply did reject by error.

You can't redress that. You may continue to upload other assets and then, after a while, trying again the corrected version of your “similar” asset.

Rejection is final unless the Reviewer asks for more details like a signed release form, for example.

Rejected assets can't be resubmitted.  But you may submit a second asset of higher quality, if you wish.

In that case, the image is set in a reminder state, and not rejected.

You are free to resubmit the asset when the rejection reasons are addressed. I had assets, that I submitted three times, before I did hit the final acceptance. (IP refusal, the round button on my iPhone was the reason, I first checked other issues! But know I know: a round button on a smartphone is an IP refusal… 🙂 )

==========

When you submit a corrected asset, do you use the rejected filename or give it a new name?

Rejected file name. Hadn't thought of that! Will try with new file name next time. Thanks! 😃

I use the same filename. With IP rejections, I do sometimes several iterations, to find the culprit. That's who I know: a red cross gets refused, even when it is not the red cross logo ;-).

When getting a refusal for quality issues, I correct and reupload. If I get a new refusal, I stop. No need to dig further.
