Nancy in regards to the vector..upload requirement ...if your file size is smaller than minimum size for upload...what what you recommend to reach required size?

Found the issue. 
Was using an out of date upload spec that called for the file, a jpeg preview and for the folder to be compressed. 
Just found a link saying just upload the file now no jpeg preview or compression. 

Tried it, ok now upload successful.

Vector files, AI or EPS that is, do not have a minimum size. Nor is scaling even possible, still less being needed.

My vector file uploaded was  rejected for file size ...as far as I can see there is size spec and it is indicated in the upload.

Are you certain you uploaded a vector graphic?  And BTW, it's impolite to hijack other people's topics. This should be moved to a new discussion.

We're not discussing vectors here.  This topic is about Generative AI, JPGs. 

 

  • Vector graphics are not pixel-based.  They are math-based graphics created in Illustrator or similar app. 
  • Vectors have no resolution dependence.
  • Vectors can be re-scaled to any size required without quality loss.

Vector graphics however are resolution independent. What does that mean?  It means math-based graphics can be re-scaled to any size needed without quality loss.

 

Yes, know how vectors work...but there is a minimum file size that I can see and was not able to upload because of the file size to small...illustrator.
