Question

What are the image quality benchmarks we are trying to achieve while submitting AI generated images

Currently I'm submitting 4326x2400 px 300ppi images, where I'm keeping a sharp focus and balanced colors in the composition. Are there any other image benchmarks I should be aware of?

You probably used the wrong upscaler. I downscaled your image, and then enlarged it with 4x-ultraSharp. I think the result is much better. Here you can find the different upscaler:

Unless the pumkin is a candle, I think it's unlikely it would reflect light on the stem as it's doing so in this image. Close, though.

You should pay attention to the quality of your submission. Your submission exposes aliases, colour artefacts and a bunch of other issues. Example:

You're welcome. Check your assets at 100% for sharpness, at 200% for artefacts.

Here are two points that bother me. Blurry molding and a strange shadow.

Basically all of the same issues you would have with a photograph: Focus, depth of field, chromatic aberration, artifacts, composition, additionally, in AI you need to carefully inspect the mage to be sure that all of the details make sense; for instance that people have the right number of fingers, animals have the right number of legs, the geometry within the image is correct, that lines connect, etc. This is a nice image, but the plank of wood in the foreground has a large gap (shadowed area) in the left that suddenly ends...
