Apart from the technical issues, highlighted here by other participants, when I see food pictures, they need to make me hungry, when it is diner time. This one doesn't really.

The reason, why I don't do (a lot of) food pictures is that it is an art on its own. The best food pictures are highly stylized.

Just some Youtube videos:

I just googled “food photography youtube” and I got you my first 3 links. Check those to see what you can do better.

(I do not endorse those videos, they just came up in my search, and I watched the 2 first completely, the last one, I just sneaked in).

Hi @CrimsonGold ,

The highlights is too high, not enough contrast and you went in too close.

Best wishes

Sadly, your snapshot lacks any WOW factor.  It's missing contrasts, colors, textures & other elements that lend visual interest.  See screenshot from Adobe Stock for comparison.  This is what you're competing with.

It goes without saying that whatever you submit to Stock must be highest visual & technical quality, suitable for commercial use.

Experiment with different lighting, camera angles and set decor.  Food photography is a very specialized talent.

Hope that helps.   Good luck with your next submission.

This is a poorly composed, improperly lit snapshot of a partial plate of messy, unattractive food. Before you decide to upload any more food photos, search the Adobe Stock database for other images in the same keyword category. And as indicated by @Ricky336 read all of the Adobe Help pages relating to Stock photography requirements.

I agree, the focus is not good, highlights are overexposed and the cropping is not good.
