What's next

I got an email saying images approved and to check my dashboard. Sure enough, there are images listed in my dashboard. The email did not tell me what happens next or if there is further action I need to take. Any feedback would be appreciated.

There's nothing you need to do after images are approved. If / when they are licensed you will receive an email.

I'm lost trying to locate info on License in the Docs. What determines if or when they will be licensed? How does the  licensing process work?

Thanks

When a customer selects your asset, you get a share of what the customer paid for that asset. You have to do nothing for this to happen. As soon as an asset is accepted, it is open for sales. Normally, you will need many assets in your database to get decent sales. You should also check your title (be verbose) and keywords (be precise and check the suggested keywords for errors). Not all the suggested keywords can be used. If a customer searches the asset and does not select it, because of keyword errors, it will be downgraded in the search priority.

When you have a total of $25 you can ask for a payout if your first sale is past a 45 days quarantine. You will need to fill out your tax form. That will determine how much of your earnings will get withhold from Adobe for tax reasons. That is between 0 to 30%, depending on your country and the tax agreement of your country and the US.

You get notified, when a sale happens. And you see this on your dashboard.
