Hi everyone, hope you are having a lovely weekend.
I have seen this question popup with everyones opinions on why you shouldn't have multiple accounts but I would like to know if it is authorised or against policy please.
Thanks so much for your feedback

I asked this question in Feedback and here is the answer :

In general, it is possible to create multiple contributor accounts. This is useful if different asset types are uploaded in the different accounts. For example, one account for videos, another account for photos and a third account for illustrations.

We don´t recommend creating multiple accounts to bypass the upload limitations and upload the same asset type and similar content in all accounts. This may lead to the accounts being blocked.

Hi @HollyAnn ,

I realize this is an old post. However, I thought it helpful to add how the Adobe "Account and Submission Guidelines" address the question about multiple contributor account policy at the sub-heading, "Multiple Accounts".  The guidelines confirms that multiple accounts are allowed under specific conditions but can lead to account closure if it is used to circumvent limits or for submitting identical or similar files. Please read the guideline carefully to extract the details.

Regards

Jacquelin

Yes, this is from the currently updated guidlines. This paragraph is new, as many contributors hitting the upload limit simply gamed the system by creating a second account and a third and a fourth …

I'm curious why you ask this.  What do you hope to gain from having more than one contributor account?

You can't submit the same assets to two different accounts.  You would be penalized or possibly terminated for submitting duplicate content.

my pending review stack is maxed out and emptying so slowly when other accounts get reviewed in 2 weeks.

I have read all of the against reviews but between having two accounts or spending months waiting... I'm thinking it's worth a try.

Not looking for any haters or nasty feedback please.

Thanks for all your answers and tips.

It seems to me that whether you submit 200 images on one account or 100 images on each of 2 different accounts on the same day, they're going to be reviewed at the same time. However, the review process is somewhat of a "black box" and most of us are just guessing at how it works.

It's allowed, but not recommended. You will indeed hurt your accounts, as much of your success depends on your sales. The higher the number of sales, the greater the likelihood of appearing in a search.

I have not read anywhere that it is officially against Adobe's policies.
