From experience and out of the blue, I would guess that you have focussing issues. A common error of flower photographers is not to get the heart of the blossom in focus. Artefacts are also a common issue. Look at your picture at 100% to check sharpness and 200-300% to see artefacts.

Hello @Maura68, @Abambo pointed out most of the issues. Here are a few more with an arrows to help you identify the mistakes. Important is that you view your photos at a high magnification. Here, in this example, at 350%.
1. None of the flower is in focus.
2. The shadows are underexposed.
3.There are artifacts around the flowers edges.
4. Parts of the flower have been clipped off.
5. This second flower should be removed. It is on the same plane as the main subject but is too small.
6. A rectangle format (2:3) is a better than square format (1:1). Apply the Rule of Thirds. This will leave empty space for a buyer to add text.
