Why are my photos being rejected?

Rejected based on one or more technical issues? What exactly are they? There isn’t enough detail in the reply. Every photo I've submitted so far has been rejected with the same generic reply.

To check you files for errors, please zoom to between 100 and 200%. This is what the water looks like when zoomed:

It should be one smooth color, and not grainy as this zoomed clip.
