As a normal contributor the highest price that you can get is about $26 per sell. The minimum is $0.33. So, $1-$2 is doing pretty good. You can only be a primum contributor by invitation from Adobe.

1 or 2 dollars for a sell is really good indeed. Be happy ...

The standard royalty is between $0.33 and $3.30. Some contributors also report only $0.20, but that is for very specal high volume agreements between Adobe and the customer.

You earn the same royalty fee as every other Adobe Stock Contributor.

  • 33% on images,
  • 35% on videos.

The rate customers pay varies by:

  • Their plan
  • Type of asset -- Images/Videos
  • Type of category -- Free, Regular, Premium
  • Type of license -- Standard, Enhanced, Extended or Editorial Use Only.

Hope that helps.

No, it's up to the buyer to buy the licence according to their needs.

You have the possibility to contribute and accept the terms, or you do not contribute. It's not an à la carte option.

With stock, typically it is many small sales that make for decent revenue flow instead of one big sale.  $1 -$2 is actually pretty decent for the stock world.  Especially with the modern stock scene.

Perhaps there are higher revenues for video sales?  For $100 - $200 sales for photos, I'd expect them to be for exclusive licenses or a specialty market, neither of which are what Adobe Stock offers.

You must be invited by Adobe to become a premium contributor. You can't apply for that position.

Are you sure your friend is being honest about his royalties? It's not unusual for others to exaggerate their statistics in this very competitive business. Also, you probably aren't earning $2 per download as that doesn't align with any of the typical Stock Subscriptions. Average royalties are ~$1, with most being $.33 and $.99.

Thanks for replying. do you know any criteria. Like how they choose what things they consider to select primium contributor.

They invite contributors. You could ask your friend. For me it's a leftover from "better" times.
