Hello, I uploaded photos 11 days ago, they are still to be reviewed. Why is it taking so long?
Currently, 1-3 months is the normal range. I think you're still in the timeframe I'd expect. I haven't heard anyone getting to 4 months yet, so that's where I would start to get concerned. But I suspect you'll have some reviewed by then.
Cheers!
Images are taking 2-3 months, photos 2 to 3 weeks.
If you've read any of the other posts in this forum, you would have learned that review time is a frequent topic of discussion here. Due to the continuing huge influx of Generative AI assets, there is a considerable backlog in the queue, and there is nothing you can do to hasten the process. Be patient.
11 days is not a long time currently. Even Adobe tells you, that it can take about 4 weeks. Current moderation times are erratic, from several hours to several months. According to Adobe, it does not take more than 2 months after submission.
"I have another question, there are photos on the Rejected page even from 2022. Will the photos on this page remain and not be deleted?"
Yes. They will remain there forever and ever and ever. Maybe (and this is just a guess) moderators refer to them now and again to make sure changes have been made if the images are submitted again at a later date.
I wanted to write a response. I upload and send, I never keep them waiting. Currently, 256 of my photos are waiting for review. The first one was sent 1 month ago, and I am excitedly waiting to see how this process will continue.
According to the information below, I think I should wait another 4 weeks and then worry 🙂

What if they are moderating an image and there's nothing wrong until thevery last aspect that they are checking for? Then in that case, yes they doknow that there is only one issue, right?
By @ImaRetiredTeacher
Yes, but that is not relevant to them. Reducing the number of refusal reasons is simply accelerating the moderation process.
Number 1: quality
Number 2: IP
Number 3: Non-compliant
Number 4: aesthetics
If you add more refusal reasons, that may lead to more time to decide, more confusion for selecting the wrong reason. Time is crucial, as a moderator who can do a moderation in 10 seconds, against one who does the same moderation in 9 seconds, the one with 9 seconds moderates 200 assets more in 5 hours. Make that with 1000 moderators, you get 200,000 moderated in addition.
And at the end of the day, it does not change much to know more about the first error encountered, knowing that a good majority of the assets have more than one issue.
Sure, it would be interesting for you to know more precisely what is wrong with your asset. But as the aim is to protect the customers and not to make the contributors better contributors, it's more efficient this way. Either you learn to contribute correct assets or you drop out. In both cases, Adobe is winning.

The review times are indeed increasing. Up to 8 weeks now. I have several images that have been waiting for weeks. Things used to be faster, it must be a manpower shortage.
Adobe. Do you need more image reviewers?

That is currently a normal waiting time, and quite stable since some time. Let's see, how the latest additions to the generative AI family will influence moderation time.

I have only been here for 6 months and have seen 2 changes already =0 When I started it was about 10 days - 2 weeks. It then jumped to approximately 4 weeks for a couple months and now is at 8 weeks. Doesn't affect me though since I'm submitting one or two per day. I get my "fix" on a regular basis now that the queue has caught up to my submissions! haha

Hello All,
Sorry to beat a dead horse (who created that awful expression!}, but I've been following many of the threads regarding wait times and thought I finally had a handle on it. I've been uploading 1 or 2 images per day so I would see moderation on a regular basis. It worked for awhile, but now I'm seeing days skipped, despite my serial additions. Is this happening to everyone?
Thx

Moderation is definitely unpredictable these days. For a couple of weeks, I was getting photographs reviewed in about 12 hours. I would submit them in the afternoon, and they would be approved and online by the next morning when I checked. A few days ago I even had 4 images reviewed in about an hour! Then I had a gap of a few days when nothing was reviewed, and now another gap over the weekend. I don't stress about it, because they WILL get reviewed, and I can't do anything about it anyway!

Oh, and here's the answer to the "dead horse" question... I should have guessed that it came from the British ! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flogging_a_dead_horse

😂 Cowpeople (to stay gender neutral…) should now about that! 😂
But it actually smells like good British humour!

My images began to be accepted after 96 days of waiting, sometimes 20-40 per day, it was also that almost 100 were accepted in one day

Thanks for the info. It's helpful to keep our time estimates as accurate as possible. Considering the holidays, I think 96 days matches what I've heard from others. Although there are a few reports that are shorter recently. I think there were many submissions for the holidays and moderation time will shorten, but thats just my own speculation.

If AI images are the reason that photos are taking so long to review, AS should assign someone people to AI and some to photos and other images. Why should those of us who are submitting AI have to wait so long to get our photos reviewed just so those doing AI can have images reviewed before us. I have images that are at the 4 month mark, still waiting. I have become reluctant to even submit anymore.

Adobe has segregated submissions into different queues by asset type. Photographs, videos and vectors are generally getting reviewed faster than Gen AI images. It is unclear from your message which asset type you've submitted.

I agree with that. But I fear that Adobe still has not found the golden way.
Did you submit immediately after uploading? Even if you have a long waiting time, I suggest you do as @ImaRetiredTeacher does: submitting regularily. That enhances the chances that regularily you get an asset moderated.

Yes, I submit regularly. Not everyday, but often enough. I guess I should have said, there have been several submissions approved that were made after the submission in question. I think that somehow, these photos got overlooked in the reviews of my subs. So, I thought if I posted on the forum someone on the review team might see this post and check my account to see what's up.
