Hi there,

Would like some constructive criticism on these photos that got rejected. The first two got accepted into ShutterStock but not for Adobe Stock. And the last two, got rejected by both. If you can, I'd really like input on the first two pictures. Thanks.

All images should be rejected. All images expose a lack of composition.

The first surly has not enough DOF, shows chromatic aberration and may be some other artefacts that you can see only when you have access to the full-size image. The hard shadow does not enhance the image.

Leaves is out of focus, probably. The small size does not allow for a correct assessment.

The house has exposure problems, probably also chromatic aberration.

The owl is out of focus (focus needs to be on the eyes) and probably also needs a property release. It could also need a white balance correction.

Off the bat, one problem on all your photos is composition. Parts of the main subject are cut off. Focus and exposure need to be improved. Especialy depth of field in the first photo,

What were the reasons given in each case, by Adobe? For example, IP release needed, technical issues, artefacts...?

All of them were technical issues.
