your Adobe Stock contributor account has been de-activated

I've written to the support, but after 3 weeks there is no answer (I can't find any reason). They blocked me when I ordered 1st payment - so be aware people.

Correct answer Jill_C

It seems that many new accounts are temporarily suspended for review following the first request for payout. This step became necessary after so many suspicious sales schemes were used to falsely inflate sales. If there are no such sales in your account, it will be unblocked after the review is concluded.

Locked this. There is no need to wake up this thread each two months, as the OP left.

My Adobe Stock contributor account has been deactivated. Is it blocked or can it be activated again?

Respond to the Contact Us link and ask for details. Your account will be unblocked if they find during their investigation you have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions, or that they can be corrected going forward if a violation has occurred. See Nancy O'Shea's response below for a list of potential violations.

Hi Sir/Madam,

I have been a contributor to Adobe Stock very long period. Every and every
content (vector) is created by me and I have not even tried to break any of
Adobe Stock's rules.

Please help me out of this. I worked hard for my work.

Thanking in anticipation

After you make sales and submit a payment, they deactive your acount. Paying nothing at all.

Adobe may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a Stock Contributor account for any of the following:
1) Suspicious sales or refund activity.
2) Content spamming or fraud.
3) Receipt of an official infringement complaint or "take down" notice.
4) Suspected violation of Stock Contributor User Terms.

Contact Stock Contributor Support: https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/contact

Be patient. An account audit could take awhile. Check your email spam folder for a reply.  If requested, provide additional information. Meanwhile work on other projects. Feel free to submit content to other stock services.

Good luck.

My account is also de-activated approx. 2 weeks ago. I wrote to contact us, but there is no any answer. I have 60dollars in my account also. I dont have good feelings about their potential answer but this process is waste of time.

If your account has been suspended, there is nothing that this community of peers can do for you. You will need to contact Adobe contributor support via the link at “Contact us”. Adobe will answer via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. The answer may take some time, depending on the workload of contributor support and the complexity of the investigation. So be patient and do not spam the contributor support.

Today my account was blocked for no reason. They wrote "Dear contributor, your Adobe Stock contributor account has been de-activated. Please see your email for more information or Contact us. But the letter did not arrive. I did not use AI at all. I did everything manually in 3D or video footage in Davinci. In what is the reason, why and why they don’t say. I read the comments above and understand that I’m not the only one who was given a ban and was not explained why.

Has your issue been resolved? I am experiencing the same problem, and this isn't my first withdrawal request. I regularly make withdrawals, and this is the first time I've encountered such an issue.

Even though I tried to contact with them using 'Contact Us' option, I couldn't get any reply.

G'day! No answer from support. Can't undesrtand what is the reason, etc. Started new account.

Hello. I have encountered the same problem. As soon as I initiated a withdrawal, my account was immediately blocked and I did not receive the payments...

I've asked for several payments, and I didn't get blocked. But when your ask for payment and there are suspicious activities you get blocked. That's standard. Then, there is an investigation, and if the suspicious activity is not related to you, then your account gets unblocked.

I think there's more here that you're not telling us.

Adobe may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a Stock Contributor account for any of the following:
1) Suspicious sales or refund activity,
2) They received an infringement complaint or "take down" notice from a 3rd party,
3) Suspected violation of Stock Contributor User Terms.

  • Stock receives hundreds of inquiries. Customer's come first.
  • It could take several weeks to complete the investigation.  Check your email spam folder.
  • Be patient & cooperate if they ask for more details.
  • Work on other projects. Submit work to other microstock services if you wish.

Good luck.

If you contacted Adobe via the Contact Us link on your account, a Support Ticket has been created in the Contributor Support system, and they'll respond when the investigation of your account has been completed. Unfortunately, that will take a while, because of the large number of accounts under review. The temporary suspension of accounts following first payment request seems to be a regular part of Adobe's process at the moment, particularly for accounts that focus on Generative AI assets. If they find nothing in your submissions or sales that violate guidelines and the Contributor Agreement, your account will be restored and the funds released.

Thank you for sending that information.  I am not even sure if that's the issue, which is the issue in general.  Most of my images are of wildlife, landscapes, travel and landmarks.  If there is a problem they should let me know.  Have never used the generative AI that is out on Photoshop and other programs now.  If I did, it would be noted.  The process is the issue.  If it took them the second to de-activate the account, it should take them a second to send a series of pre-made responses based on issues they have.  I've been with them for over three years without issue.  Might just be a misunderstanding of the new AI stuff, as Topaz has AI in the title.  This is so frustatiing as I spent alot of effort to shoot, upload and put metadata on all these images.  I have not had a problem in the other sites I put my images on.

I agree that it's frustrating to not know what the problem is and how long it will take to resolve it. Account suspension seems to be the only tool Adobe currently has to address any number of potential issues with an account, which is unfortunate. Given your history, and the types of assets that you upload, this is likely to be a very temporary suspension.
