I'm trying to find some good images of Native Americans for a historical type non fiction books. EVERY image that I find that will work has Editoral only and I can tell easily they are AI.
Is there some rule that all AI images must be listed as editioral.
When you click on the left for non editorial they are still showing up.
Anyone have a clue.
I talked to adobe help and they said all images can be used for commercial use and I know that is not true. If it's marked editorial you are not supposed to use them as commercial.
Any tips ideas
thanks
Samantha
I can confirm that the image can be used commercially.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Actually, AI images CANNOT be Illustrative Editorial, by definition.

I might have just triggered something in my brain. Maybe some of you can confirm. It says commercial use on the left, but mentions editoral on the right. Does that just mean if we use it for editoral and not commerical we can't say it's some famous Native American to decieve people. BUT WE can use it as a commerical image. I hope that's what it means.

They should not be used in a misleading situation. You can use them in editorial settings, however. As an example: you can use a robot picture to illustrate an article about the future of something, but you cannot use it to write an article about a specific car manufacturer who uses robots to assemble cars.
So I think the statement here is more correct: Generative AI assets cannot be entered into the illustrative editorial use only collection.

I've corrected my answer (https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-discussions/adobe-stock-ai-images-all-show-up-as-editorial/m-p/...) in a crucial point! Please be sure to read that one, and please excuse my confusion.
