Adobe Stock images under the Extended License

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the use of Adobe Stock images under the Extended License for selling physical printed posters. If I want to sell a poster featuring an Adobe Stock image, do I need to make any modifications or add creative elements to the image? Or is it permissible to sell the physical poster without any additional elements?

Thank you for your assistance!

The extended licence is required to sell physical posters, mugs or t-shirts or equivalent, where an Adobe asset is printed on. But yes, with an extended licence, you can do sell posters, and no, you do not need, but you are allowed to modify the asset.

The extended License specifies:

with an Extended license, you may not:

  • Distribute the stand-alone file.

With an Enhanced license, you may not:

  • Distribute the stand-alone file.
  • Create merchandise, templates, or other products for resale or distribution where the primary value of the product is associated with the asset itself. For example, you can't use the asset to create a poster, t-shirt, or coffee mug that someone would buy specifically because of the asset printed on it.

Thank you for the response! I meant to ask about the Extended License, not the Enhanced License.

Sorry. That was a cut and paste error. I have amended my response above.
