I have Creative Cloud but the images I download from Adobe Stock are very small and have Adobe text on them. Also when I download vector images they look very poor quality in Illustrator and look like a jpg.

Creative Cloud all Apps, or single apps plans from creative cloud do not include an Adobe stock subscription. The only exception is Adobe Express Premium, which is included in an All Apps plan. The assets that you licence via Adobe Express, come with a limited licence, so be sure to understand the limitations.

You have, however, access to items in the free collection. Or you will need to take a separate subscription for Adobe stock. https://stock.adobe.com/plans. A last option is to buy credit packs, who will provide you with access to Adobe stock, without the need of a subscription.

Creative Cloud subscriptions don't include an Adobe Stock subscription; therefore you're seeing only small unlicensed thumbnails. To download full size images without a watermark you'll need to purchase an Adobe Stock subscription. Alternatively, you can search in the Adobe Stock Free Collection of more than 1 million images.
