These are the early termination fees as you promised to take a one year, automatically renewable subscription. If you cancel early, i.e. before the start of the last month, you have to pay an early termination fee of the half of the remaining due.

If you do not use the service, it's cheaper to cancel. If you use the service, and you do want to cancel before the end of the (contract) year, cancel during the last month of your subscription.
