Creative Cloud 1 year subscription - when can I end it without additional cost?

I have a Creative Cloud 1 year subscription which I made 1st August 2023, with a monthly payment of  263,75 SEK. It was (apparantly) automatically extended another year on 1st August 2024, and now when I try to end the plan, I will be charged 1 186 SEK (i.e. 4,5 months). I hardly ever use this Adobe software which is included, so meaningless to continue paying for it.

1) On what date can I end this subscription without any extra costs? Would that be on 1st August 2025? What if I end the plan a day before or after that exact date?

2) When ending a plan, will the amount be charged fully at once (1 186 SEK), or will it be split and charged monthly for 4,5 months?

3) There is an option to change the plan, so I could select something a bit cheaper. How does that work, do I still pay the 4,5 months for the old plan, AND the new plan, or how does this work?

Yes, it plainly sais that when I have a yearly plan and payments by the month, when cancelling I will be charged a fee (1118 SEK in my case) and can then only use the software for another month. SO i have to pay as if I was continuing the software service another 5-6 months, but I can only uise the software another month. This type of "lockin-agreement"  where you pay but can not use the service you have paid for, is possibly illegal in Sweden and EU, and even if it is not, it is an excellent way of alienating customers like me. I have cancelled the plan now, I will pay that 110 USD and be done with Adobe for the rest of my life 😉

You have an annual plan paid by the month. This plan renews automatically for an other year, if not cancelled. You could also have taken the more expensive monthly plan, cancellable at any moment without a fee. But for the promise to pay for a whole year, you got a better price. Taking an annual plan makes it possible to engage resources. By paying an early termination fee of half of the remaining dues, Adobe lets you cancel the annual plan early. You can cancel without a fee during the last month of your subscription.
