This file says "100% editible - word and font can be changed". All I want to change is the word but it won't let me. Anyone know how to do this?

I would really appreciate some instructions included with this. I want to use it but can't figure out how to do anything with this file. There are TONS of files like this on AdobeStock. What am I missing here?

Hello @kellyh51032662, I'm sorry for the poor experience here. It looks like there's no font inside this vector to be able to easily modify the text. I've granted you a replacement credit and will send the vector to the content team for review. Thank you for the report and sorry for the problem with the vector. 

For vectors with the font still intact, example 468806833 I moved the typing cursor over the font, clicked on the word and then typed to modify the word.

Thank you. For future reference, how do I know if the font is included or not? The info on this (complete) file looks the same as the (incomplete) file that I purchased. I don't want to keep buying useless files.

I'm sorry but we don't have an indicator on the site that specifies if a font was packaged in the vector. I'll pass along this customer need scenario for future improvement.

You only see that as soon as you have licensed the asset. I know, this is not ideal. Avoid Premium assets here, as it will be more complicated to get a refund, if the asset is faulty. You can post the asset id (or a link to the asset) and tag Contributor1 when you need a checking and refund. Tagging works by adding @ in front of the name.

The font is never included. If the description hints that the effect is editable text, the font can't be outlined, but needs to be live. However, the font itself is never included. Ideally, it is a font from the Adobe font collection. But you should be prepared to replace the font with a font at your disposal.

If the text is outlined, the description of “editable vector text effect” is deceptive, and the asset needs to be reviewed and most probably deleted from the database.
