Hi,
I am a filmmaking student, and we have access to Adobe Stock at my university. We can download some stock with "Extended licenses". Can we use that stock in our Short Films as students?
Thank you

Extended or enhanced? Extended is available for some assets that come also under a standard licence. Enhanced is a licence type that is attributed to some asset types, and can't be "extended". An extended licence gets rid of some limitations of the standard licencence, like a 500k print run/view limit. Enhanced licenses do not have this limit. But they can't be used for merchandizing, Like T-shirt or mug printing.
Educational licences may have different limitations from commercial licences, but the reason for such a plan is to use the assets for educational projects. So primarily, I would say that you won't have limits in using assets in your school projects. That would be silly, wouldn't it?
But if you want to be 100% sure, I suggest that you ask your internal support. They should be able to answer that question or at least indicate you the person that is able to answer.

Thank you. It's an extended license. So, according to the conditions, I may;
- Include the asset in email marketing, mobile advertising, or a broadcast program.
- Post the asset to a website.
So I guess this includes websites like YouTube and Vimeo if we would like to publish it?

Sure. That's what I normally would assume. (I'm a little bit vague here, because I do not know about your special terms as an Enterprise customer. But it is safe to assume that you can use the assets for your stiudent work without much restrictions above what is usual. I think there are some restrictions that come with using the assets for new projects after the subscription has been cancelled. Your school should still be able to guide you, by either pointing out the licensing terms they agreed upon or by giving you a schoolé redacted guidance.)
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
