Found: AI-Generated Art With Errors
On this post, Abambo said to open threads to discuss AI-generated art assets we find that need to be reported as "bad" due to incorrect fingers, strange distortion, etc.
Here's some:
- The fingers are wrong, and there's at least one set of that aren't connected to a body
- This is categorized as a photograph but is obviously AI-generated (see: the shape of the jar)
- This is also categorized as a photograph while being tagged as AI-generated, and some of its globs of paint have impossible hue-shifts
- This categorized-as-a-photo family shot looks great from a distance but horrifying up close
- This cute old man (found in the Photos category) is also horrifying
- Sometimes the errors are very subtle, like the way the righthand fox in this image has three legs in a sort of which-one-belongs-where optical illusion
It was easy to find these error-ful images. But even as AI-generated art "improves" so that it's harder to recognize, the legal and ethical issues included in their making are reason enough to exclude them from Adobe Stock. Even more important, Adobe is a business founded on helping creative humans make art. It should be a stronghold against the wave of artificial art that would seek to replace us, or else the entire brand is a sham.
