how do I unlicense something that I purchased accidentally?

Explorer ,
Jul 20, 2015 Jul 20, 2015

I'm just now figuring out this adobe stock and there are buttons all over to license stuff, and I can't see any prices anywhere.  I apparently have x photos that I can license as part of my subscription, but as I was traversing the site trying to see what stuff costs I ended up accidentally licensing a photo twice.  It really needs more feedback on what I am about to do.  So, how do I un-license the extra copy of a photo?

Thanks!

Hi there

I've added a license credit to your account to replace the duplicate image ordered in error.

Kind regards

Hi K.,

Apologies, I only now saw your post. I don't see a record of you contacting customer care under the Adobe ID you are using here on the forums. I'm sorry you had a poor experience if you decide to renew your Adobe Stock subscription by the 19th, thirty days from when you closed your most recent subscription, I can assist you with receiving a replacent for the accidental licenses.

Hi,

I accidentally clicked "license" while scrolling through a search page.  Any way I can get a credit and delete this one image from my account?

As you have accidentally licensed an Adobe Stock image, I have added an image credit to your account so that you can license a different image instead.

Kindly go through the help document as well: Stock FAQ: How to license an image with Adobe Stock?

Hello everyone,

I'm having a similar issue.

I licensed image N. FILE: 81768025 but, once downloaded, the file results way darker than the picture in the preview.

To resolve the issue on my own, I licensed and downloaded file n°81768033 (which is the same image but darker) thinking that maybe the two files have been swapped somehow, but found out that neither is the correct match to the preview picture for file n°81768025.

I’d really appreciate if you could help me get the correct image and refund me of one lost license, if at all possible.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Illaria,

I apologize for the trouble. I licensed and Downloaded the file ID (81768025) and agree with you that the file appears darker than the image in the preview.

I have added an image credit to your account so that you can license a different image instead. I will be reporting the same image to the concerned team so that they can get it fixed.

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much Twarita!

I actually needed that particular image for a specific project, so can I ask you usually how long does it take for an image to get fixed?

Sorry for bothering you once more, but I'm really grateful for your intervention.

Have an awesome day

Ilaria

I seem to have accidentally purchased/licensed 2 videos while trying to add them to my lightbox.

ADB016449101

$213.49

and

ADB016449239
$85.39

Haven't downloaded either of them. May want them later but do not yet have approval. Any way I can void these purchases/licenses?

Thank you for your help

Wow. Well.

Allow me to adamantly suggest/request a 'purchase confirmation' dialogue. It's pretty ridiculous that the 'add to library' looks exactly the same in both the purchase license and the add to lightbox drop-downs—which are a few pixels away from one another.

More importantly to my own situation. If I'm stuck with this accidentally purchased stock, there is no way I need the $200 4K video, which again, I have not downloaded. Can I at very least change that to the regular HD?

Lastly, there's nothing about this situation in the licensing link you sent posted.

Very dissatisfied.

Hello,

I accidentally licensed an image less than 5 minutes ago clicking through the site, logged into a private client's account.

I'd like to return the image or unlicense the image. The number of the image is #130972203

Thanks!

Hi Renee,

I checked your account and see that you had accidentally licensed the image# as mentioned by you in the post above.

I apologize for the troubles that you've faced and have added a credit to your account against that image as it cannot be returned.

You can use it for a different image.

Hi, like many other people I accidentally clicked on the licence button instead of the preview button. Image in question was #: 76966347.

I can't believe that this is still a one-click process considering the amount of replies to this, and other, threads.

Could I please get a credit for the mistaken image and I'll try and be more careful with my clicks in future!

Thanks
