License Again?

I am a photo hobbyist and have no intention of using Stock images for commercial purpose, just to learn something about PS or LR with imagery I could not do myself. In my License history I see several, actually a lot of icons for "License again." Why?

Correct answer Abambo

You only got moved from one forum to a different one. Posting in the correct forum is important, as you get qualified answers from there.

It's not relevant whether you are a professional or a hobbyist. The licensing terms and the licencing of stock assets is the same.

If you have licenced stock assets for one client (paid or unpaid: you, your club, your mother-in-law) and you want to use the same asset for a different client, you will need to licence again. If you use the same asset for the same client (website, brochure, pull-up) you do not need to licence again.

So, in your licence history, you can “licence again” if that is needed. That's all.

Please update this thread if you need further information.

Look here for more information on licensing: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock/links-for-licensing-terms/td-p/11366788
(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based on reading and interpreting the licence terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I cannot rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee).

I'm not sure I understand. I saw the page that you sent the link to and I thought that's where I had started from. Fine with me to move the post where ever you think I can get an answer. You are correct that searching where I landed is a swamp. Does you answer mean you will move it ands I just wait for a notification?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
