Question

licensed stock images "no longer available"

A while ago I licensed a number of vector illustrations by the same author. The illustrations represented characters created in the same style and I hoped to use thme in a few of my future projects. However I am unable to download them as they appear as "no longer available". It is not just one, it is a few dozens of images. It is extremely frustrating, why am I even paying for this subscription if I am not able to use the images I licensed.

If you previously downloaded the licensed images, they're still available to use. The license remains intact even if the contributor subsequently deleted them from the Adobe Stock database.

Well, I did download them, but later I removed some stock assets, as I needed space on my hard drive. I was 100% sure that I can download licensed assets whenever I want, so I don't need to store them locally. Apparently it is not the case.
