Hi!
I have a regular Adobe CC Abo und used regulary the free Images from Adobe Stock (Not the 10 free trial ones). But now I get an announcement, that my limit for the day is off. I only downloaded three? Since when to the free ones have a limit??

Thanks!

There's always been a limit. The limit has been reduced to 3. I suspect not enough people using the free images have converted to paid Stock Subscriptions - surely the only reason for the free collection...

The reduced limit appears to be quite new, because we started to see questions and complaints relating to the 3-per-day limit here in the forum just a few days ago.

I just contacted Adobe support and they tell me that this has been the policy since May 1. I've been a CC subscriber for years and always assumed it's part of CC (access to stock is via the CC app). Now I'm told that stock is a different entity from CC.

This is disappointing. I don't recall receiving a heads-up from Adobe regarding this; that's lousy PR. And only 3 images per day? Seriously?

To the best of my knowledge, Adobe Stock has always been a separate subscription. Free Assets were only added to the Stock database about 2 years ago. Adobe Stock can be accessed on stock.adobe.com, and does not have to be accessed exclusively through Adobe Creative Cloud Apps. In other words, you don't have to be an Adobe CC subscriber to purchase Adobe Stock assets. They are 2 separate products.

I agree that the non-announcement of the reduction to 3 free assets daily was not handled well by Adobe. Nevertheless, regardless of whether it was announced or just quietly implemented, those who have been enjoying the freebies would have been miffed, so I suppose that factored into their decision to downplay the change.

Thank you! Do you know what was the limit before? Cause I never reached it.. and do you know since when they reduced it (without any announcement... which is a cut in service I would call)

ive heard it was 100 images. got my info from another post about the same question, but yeah. its like 97% drop .. they could have lowered it to say 50 or even 30 images a day.. but to drop to 3? .. im mad. lol.

My experience is, that it is again higher than 3. But hey: it's free, so I think that Adobe has all the rights to limit access to those assets, even that I would assume that there should be a difference between a paying customer (like someone having a Creative Cloud all apps subscription) and someone having no subscription.
