When Adobe purchased Dollarphoto all my credits were transferred to Adobe. No Problem. I had about 110 and used about 30 - 35 images.
When I went back to Adobe Stock I was very surprised to learn that I no longer had any more credits (lost about 70 of them). When I contacted Adobe they informed me that because I did not subscribe to AS I lost all my credits.
I'm disappointed that Adobe would resort to this 'Negative Option' tactic. This practice was the basis of a legal lawsuit in Canada against one of the largest telecommunications providers.
So basically since I do not have a subscription I lose all my credits > What if I do sign up then do I get my credits back?
Complete rip off.
I think I will also cancel my adobe CC subscription given this tactic.
Just an update:
I spoke with Live Chat referencing this post and the issue regarding my credits has been resolved to my satisfaction.
Thanks to Twarita and Kumar for taking care of my concern.

Hi Howard,
I see you have an Adobe account with the same ID as with forums.Your 99 unused downloads from Dollar Photo Club have expired. Get all the unused downloads back by simply subscribing to one of many Adobe Stock plans.
We understand it's inconvenient, however, this is the only option available.
Please feel free to update this thread in case of any additional query.

Hi Twarita,
So I must subscribe even if it’s just for a month in order to get my credits back?
Please advise.

Howard,
Yes, you need to have a Stock subscription to get the credits back.
For more information, please see Stock FAQ: Where can I find details about Dollar Photo Club (Fotolia) closure?
