Missing editable layer in licensed image

Licensed this image: 556527619 however it is missing the editable layer contents in the downloaded file.

I selected this one specifically for the editable outline feature labeled in the preview image and file title. Is there a correct file for this?

It may not be, what you expect, but it is what it says:

Abambo_0-1674040985803.png

  • the icons are editable
  • the strokes are outlined

However, if the contributor had let the strokes, it would have been great. It's very strange that there is that empty layer. I would have deleted that too.

It's pretty obvious to me the intention was to be an outline that is editable, especially since the missing layer is labeled that way, and every file that states "editable" has commonly implied the stroke, not the vector file itself. All vector files are technically editable, otherwise wouldn't all file names need to label it that way?

I get your point, just seems like a shady trickery of words, if it was not simply an error.

My guess is, that the contributor made an error, by outlining the icons. However, none can get this corrected now. Do you want a replacement credit?

Calling @WendellaBee. Could you take over and handle this please.

It looks like the editable portion is under the STROKE 12 PX EXPAND layer.

It is not an editable stroke, that layer is the expanded path.

Yes, the replacement credit would be appreciated.

Illustrator is not my area of expertise. Could you please explain to me why this file would not be considered editable?

The assets are technically editable, but unfortunatly the contributor expanded (outlined) the strokes, so that practically any (workable) edit would need to redraw the icon. This can be done, but then you will ask yourself, why you licenced the asset.
