For a while I had an online biz and used stock images. The biz died but I forgot to kill the subscription to Stock. It ran for a while until I cancelled it. I'm now trying to fire up a new biz and wanted to grab some images using the old credits. However, the old credits appear to be gone and Adobe's help links suggest that I can only get help if I'm currently paying for a subscription.
Are these credits gone for good? Is there a way to talk to someone without signing up for the Free Trial?
Any other advice?
Thanks
Cancelling the subscription will kill the credits. Like cancelling your cell phone subscription will cancel your free minutes. Indeed, you are not paying for credits, but for running the site and service. And for this, you get a preferential allocation of some free assets.
Conclusion: your credits are gone. Any licenced items and consumed in other projects can't be used. You either need to take a new subscription or buy credit packs for getting access to the current stock offer.

Thank you, I appreciate the quick answer. Not the one I wanted but the one I suspected.
For anyone at Adobe, assuming the above description is accurate, that's a screwing IMO. I will not be signing up again.

You agreed to the terms when you signed up and when you cancelled, so it shouldn't be a surprise. The analogy I would use is a movie subscription that allows you 3 movies a month. After a year or so, you decide that you're not watching the movies anyway so might as well as cancel. Would you really expect to retain access to all the movies you didn't watch while the subscription was active?

If you had licensed assets under the previous business' team contract those assets were only available under that organization. Once the contract ended access would have ended. If this was recent change you might be able to retrieve and transfer that licnse history however it may have been too long since the contract ended and a transfer cannot be done.
