Stock Image Crashes Illustrator

Hi, I purchased this image: Realistic red maple leaf isolated on white background - image | Adobe Stock and every time I try to open it, Illustrator crashes. I have tried closing all of my Adobe apps, rebooting, nothing. I just get a blank black screen and Illustrator stops responding.

I am using a Mac, with the latest versions of all the apps. This is the first time that this has happened to me with a stock image - images I've downloaded before are still opening fine.

This is the error message I get from Illustrator:

Hi AD,

I was able to open the image in Illustrator with no crash, but it did take a long time for the file to open. I've granted you a credit for your trouble and I'll ask our content team to look into the issue.

I can confirm there is an issue with that image. Tried opening the file directly, open from a library and import into a document and all three crashed Illustrator.
