Using Music and Video Clips for Broadcast TV and Radio

I am part of an enterprise account and have access to almost everything Adobe makes. We have unlimited image downloads, etc. I wanted to look into the possibility of using some stock music and video that would occasionaly be need for TV and radio broadcast. After being transferred to, no joke, six different people on the live chat, finally someone said I needed an Extended License added to my account. The number of downloads depends on which one we purchase. Does this sound correct?

Also, are there restrictions that one purchase is only good for one project? That sort of thing? My head is spinning reading all the legal pages.

You probably have a legal counsel at your company. You should ask that one. We are only amateurs in this matter. And extended Audio licence questions are very rare (probably because the companies have legal counsel at their disposal).

However the licence you need to get is clearly marked on the licensing page: https://stock.adobe.com/license-terms#audioLicenses

Enterprise subscriptions may have different benefits as standard subscribers, so it's indeed very difficult to give meaningful advice without risking to give false advice.

I appreciate the effort. Just wanted to get opinions from others that may have been in a similar situation. We do have counsel, but haven't gotten them into this yet. Thanks for all the replies.

The problem is, that the terms of the Enterprise subscriptions are not the same as for the common mortal, and from what I think, there is a lot of custom conditions. Your standard assets (as an example) may come with an enhanced licence. Witch would give you more rights than standard users. But thise are not situations I managed, so I'm completely in the dark.

You really need to check that at your side, with your terms and with your legal advisor.

Read Clause 6.D. in the License Agreement:

(D) Client Use. You may purchase a license to a Stock Asset (excluding a Pro Asset) on behalf of your client, and
your client may use the asset subject to these terms. In that case, you represent and warrant that you have full
legal authority to, and will, bind your client to these terms. If you do not do so, then your client may not use the
Stock Asset. The rights purchased may only belong to you or your client. If you purchase a license to a Stock Asset
used by a client, you must purchase additional licenses for any other use by you or additional clients. In other
words, only one of you (and not both) may re-use a Stock Asset in multiple projects. You must not (a) resell
licenses to Stock Assets or (b) use Pro Assets in client projects or permit your clients to use Pro Assets.

You don't need to re-license an asset for each use by a single client, for instance, in an ad and also a brochure and also a web page for that one client. However, if you want to use the asset for yourself or another client, you need to relicense it.

Thanks for that info. In my case, it's a client that pays us a retainer bascially and we will make videos with text, voiceover and cut music to fit the ad. Then we would upload that completed asset to a service that will air it for a couple of days. In my case, our client won't be able to "use" the asset (music or video). We would deploy it for them. Maybe next month, they will change the offer (usually to buy a car) so I would edit the price and date and redeploy. Is that considered a new product or just an edit to an existing end product?
